Cut that Head off!

Yes, today was the day to harvest some sunflower seeds. A few seeds ended up being devoured by some insects but nothing is perfect.

On a side note. When you cut off the sunflower head you don’t have to dig the whole plant out, since it may produce some side shoots that will flower as well. Give it another chance.
