And, I think I know why. I didn’t do enough research on this topic since I enjoy playing a guessing game when I get lost in the woods:) But, I noticed the strawberry colored rocks along parts of the trail and the abundance of red colored native plants and chaparral which give the mountains a nice pale Magenta color once you are at the peak. So let me call it a Pale Magenta Peak, or Peaks I’d rather say. Since once I reached one of them I noticed the next one arising in front if me, and then another one. By the time I got to the second peak I was half alive. But hey, it’s all about the journey.
I may not know what CALIFORNIA means to you but I know what it feels like when you up there. Please join me as I’m hiking California.
P.S. I’ll soon be planting more fall flowers and maybe harvest some watermelons so stay tuned.
