No and NO! not like that..(and other updates)

Let’s see, it’s November 15th, technically almost summer, almost…

And I dare to suggest, TRY EVERYTHING any time.

So it states:

“…in full sun after danger of frost, spring to early summer. “

I’m pretty sure I read this correctly, and they aren’t fully aware just yet, but they are..

WRONG!

For example, I’ve decided to train my beans, so they could prove their self-worth to me this fall in LA. Check them out winking at you:

BEANS experiment.

YOU have no excuse people. Especially! If you are in LA, cause you know what..

RISKING EVERYTHING IS IN YOUR BLOOD.

Stay tuned for updates on those beans.

Lavender growing from the winner.

Guess what? I had a full packet of seeds. There is ONLY one winner and as my friend would say,…and it’s OKAY.

Prickly Pear Waving at me.

You ain’t in Cali if you don’t have a cactus of sorts in your backyard.

I tried that stunt before, but I couldn’t save the original plant for the life of me. Check out the remaining pups. Keep in mind, Be careful when separating the pups from your Banana Plants, damaged roots=dead plant.

And going back to my watermelon saga. To pick or not to pick. I sat down with my watermelons for a small chat. I explained to them, I’m bad at calculating the days so they better show me. And here is the advice they gave me:

You may want to go by that Umbilical cord, the fruit is directly attached to. Once it’s started drying out, you may pick the jewels.

I had this small toy melon and I thought it would die off on it’s own and I wouldn’t remove it. You know what it told me? Right,
“Never give up and you’ll be as Red and Sweet as you could possibly be. And your size won’t matter.”

Updates on our dear Succulents! Nikki and Seth! Are you listening?:))))Maybe they do miss your balcony, not.. Check them out! They are as imperfect as PERFECT can be.

You know, I think we can all agree, life would not be complete without THYME. And what does Your warm, safe place smell like?

Thyme is growing from seeds. Can you see it?
It’s going to be the very first Cali winter outdoors for this tropical beauty. Coffee Plant.

Stay tuned a have a CHOCOLATE day everyone.
