Hyacinth starting the show from the bottom. 

Plant the bulbs in Fall, approx 5in deep. The spacing isn’t critical. Hyacinths above are sharing a 17in pot. If you want bigger plants they need to be separated and planted at least 7in apart. They prefer slightly acidic soil. The soil you would use for blueberries is perfect for the flowers. Avoid compost.
The more space you give each plant, the bigger it gets. IT’S ALL ABOUT PRIVACY.
