Feel Alone in a Crowd?

I know now,

You are interesting and good looking. Keep riding your wave.

RIGHT. I am talking to my Persimmon tree,

whose colors this Fall continue to fascinate me every day.

With all due respect, all who say there are no colors in California, Beat it.

This Fuyu Persimmon lives in 15 Gallon Pot filled with a well draining acidic mix by Gary’s Best. Stop by Laguna Hills Nursery to purchase the perfect soil for potted plants.

Keep your persimmon trees in consistently moist soil and in full sun. They do not appreciate drying out.

Persimmons are self-pollinating. They produce both male and female Flowers, one tree will produce fruit. Fertilize with aged chicken manure and a well balanced fertilizer which contains all 15 minerals and plant in the ground for best flower and fruit results. I recommend Down to Earth Organic Fertilizers.

Do not use chemical fertilizers if your trees are in the ground. You will destroy the natural microbial organisms that live in the soil. Apply organic fertilizers and aged manures.

If your plants are in pots you may use the slow release fertilizers like Osmocote, which is not organic but a good solution for potted gardens. It acts faster and does not leach out as fast as the organics would.
