Garden Imperfect Plants

Hi,

Welcome to our imperfect garden dedicated to a large variety of potted plants and located in Los Angeles, California. We grow fruit and tropical plants, berries, perennial shrubs, trees, flowers, and edibles in a backyard space of the apartment building we live in. I am inviting you on this journey with me as these plants grow and develop.
This garden unofficially started a few years back, in 2016, with an over ripened avocado fruit. It’s seed had sprouted inside. I threw it away without much hesitation. But, a few months later I had a sudden flashback and decided to throw a few apple seeds in the pot of soil, not expecting much to be honest and so it all began.

Routinely, I started planting every little seed I came across and that had a chance of sprouting, from berries to eucalyptus trees. You will see some of these plants alive and well to this day.
The purpose of my blog and the website is to keep track on our collection of plants as it grows and develops in a small outdoor space.
I will be posting my personal experience and observations, tips on what I do to take care of the plants and keep them healthy. You may also find the links to some products I use in our garden.
